Adrián "Viajero" Román
Adrián Román says ‘Viajero’ was a “destined name” his grandfather, the late Fernando Román, gave him. When he was younger, his grandfather called him ‘Viajero’ for the first time because of his love of exploration. Román remembers the significance of the name didn’t hit him right away. There wasn’t a specific “moment of clarity” for him to see what the name would eventually mean. It was instead a collection of familiar moments and his own artwork illustrating a character called El Viajero that awakened the real meaning of the name in him and in his art. The name comes from his love of travel and art.
